KHS will build a plant and service centre in Kunshan, China, to respond faster to the local market. The manufacturer of filling and packaging systems allocated €10 million for the project. When completed, the 10,000sqm plant will enhance the engineering, production, logistics and service of the company.
KHS has been serving the Chinese beverage industry since 1904. In 2008, it entered the China market with its first representative office in Beijing, and then set up its headquarters in Shanghai in 2014. With a new broad-scale plant, KHS will be able to support Kunshan’s regional industry and expand its business within Asia.
